Innocent Hearts College of Education organised an Orientation Programme.


Innocent Hearts College of Education welcomed the B.Ed. new entrants (2024-2026) with a prayer ceremony to seek the blessings of the almighty and to initiate the B.Ed. session (2024-2026) with serene optimistic ambience. This was followed by an Orientation Programme in which the newcomers were acquainted with the current rules, regulations and curriculum of the B.Ed. course.
Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh addressed the novices by welcoming them, briefed them about the college governing body, the meritorious history of the college and acquainted them about the various clubs and committees run by the college. He introduced the faculty members to the newly admitted students and also discussed the scheme of study of the two-year B.Ed. training programme. He notified that last year, GNDU university has converted the marks system into credit based grading system (CBGS) for the B.Ed. course and in the upcoming B.Ed. session (2024-2026), there are modifications in the B.Ed. maximum mark scores in some subjects. The modifications in the B.Ed. syllabus were discussed in detail by Assistant Professor Ms. Tarunjyoti Kaur. She informed the students about the college etiquettes and the co-curricular and NSS activities which the college organizes every year during the B.Ed. course. In the coming days, the incharges of the various cells, clubs and committees i.e. Grievance Redressal cell, Red Ribbon cell, Eco- club, Cultural club, Academic committee, Placement cell, Anti-ragging committee, Library committee, Examination committee and Mental health club will orient the students about their members, functioning and numerous activities. In the end, all the faculty members encouraged the student-teachers to pursue their goal of success with full dedication and commitment.







Innocent Hearts Group celebrated National Hindi Diwas with great pride and dignity

 

The NSS Unit of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions and Innocent Hearts College of Education organised Inter-College Hindi Language Competitions on the occasion of National Hindi Diwas. Many students from all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Noorpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Kapurthala Road)  and various colleges - Chacha Satyapal Tuli Memorial College of Education, Pathankot; Dips College of Education, Dhilwan and Om Parkash Memorial Institute of Education, Dyalpur participated in these competitions.
The Inter-College competitions, Slogan writing, Essay writing, Declamation and Creative writing in Hindi Language aimed at preserving, promoting and transmitting Hindi Language to the coming generations in its pure form as Hindi is the soul of our Indian cultural heritage. For inculcating values amongst the student-teachers, a creative writing competition was also organized by the Literary club in which the participants wrote Kabir Dasji ke Dohey, Rahimji ke Dohey, Tulsi Dasji ke Dohey in the Hindi language. Through these quotations the participants depicted their love and respect for Hindi language and spread the message that Hindi is the backbone of our nation. All the participants were appreciated and the winners were awarded with the certificates. The students of the schools composed inspiring slogans in Hindi, expressing their deep sense of pride.
