INNOCENT HEARTS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ONCE AGAIN SETS BENCHMARK IN QUALITY EDUCATION

The student-teachers of Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar have brought victory home in the First Semester of B.Ed. Examination.  Japleen Kochhar stood first in the college, Ria Mahajan achieved second position, Reema Rani got third position and Ishpreet Kaur got forth position in the college.  Japleen Kochhar attributed her success to her teachers, husband and environment of the college. She said, “Most people think that excellent results are because of the student’s hard work only, but really a huge part of these results is what teachers, friends and family have done to help and assist.” Ria Mahajan attributed her success to her parents and college, she said “My teachers are my ray of hope they have always been my guide and motivator, I dedicate my achievement to my teachers. I feel very thankful to my family and teachers for their support and guidance always and motivating me always”. Reema Rani firstly thanked God and then said “a big thanks to my parents and most co-operative and hard-working teachers of Innocent Hearts College of Education”.        




         

The students were missing college in the time of celebration due to COVID-19 dangers. However, they shared their happiness digitally.  Executive director of college Mrs. Aradhana Bowry said Innocent Hearts Group has never compromised with the quality of education and has always worked for betterment of students. This support of Innocent Hearts Group will continue in Lockdown period and ever after that.

 

Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh congratulated the students and motivated the students to work more hard to clear the last step of their teacher Education Programme so that they may go to the society for service. Faculty members congratulated the student-teachers for their brilliant achievements.

HOLI CELEBRATION

The colourful carnival- Holi, among students and faculty members at Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar made the ambience more exuberant and vivid. The student-teachers and faculty members got together to play Holi with flowers in the campus and cheered up saying, "bura na maano Holi hai”… Executive Director of College, Mrs. Aradhana Bowry  delivered her warm wishes to students. She said that Holi is considered as the festival of brotherhood and unity. She also added that this Colorful festival, being a symbol of love and merriment, gives an opportunity to connect with our dear ones, provides a chance to lead a fresh life.

To celebrate this festival, a Special Assembly was conducted by the student-teachers, wherein a beautiful skit was performed deciphering the importance of Holi and the safety measures required while playing Holi. A mesmerising dance performance by the students also entralled the audience.

The campus was reverberating with Holi songs and students were ablaze with excitement. Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh praised the efforts of the students saying that holi is the day to express love with colours and he also implored them to play safe Holi by avoiding artificial colours which are dangerous for our skin.The Holi celebration concluded with distribution of Gujia, the traditional sweet dedicated to this festival. 

CELEBRATED WOMEN’S DAY

“A successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at her.” Along with millions of people around the globe, Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar and NSS unit of the college also celebrated International Women’s Day.

Mrs. Aradhana Bowry, Executive Director of College, was the chief guest of this occasion. The chief guest was offered a floral welcome. The inaugural note was delivered by Dr. Tirath Singh, Principal, Sacred Heart’s College of Education, Barnala. He introduced her to the audience by highlighting her achievements. Dr. Tirath Singh presented his views regarding this special occasion. He accented the importance of this day by saying that the celebration is being done only because no other species possess such plethora of attributes. In her address, during the event Mrs.Aradhana Bowry addressed that there should be a balance between career and family and without a family support a women can’t achieve success, also addressed that girls should know their rights to defend themselves and be careful about crimes against women. On this occasion, there were various events like skit, PowerPoint presentation, slogan writing and declamation on women empowerment and deliberations performed by the student-teachers of the college. The students shared their views on woman empowerment and ongoing scenarios. A cultural show was carried out which emphasized the role of women in the society. The Program was concluded by proposing the vote of thanks by the Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh. He said that women’s day is to celebrate the achievements of women in various fields and also to express our respect, appreciation & love towards the most powerful gender.

KOMANTRI MAA BOLI DIWAS MARCH

  Komantri Maa Boli March which started from Lyallpur Khalsa School, Nakodar Chowk to Desh Bhagat Yaadgari Hallin order to boost the significance and present day relevance of Punjabi language.Before taking part in the march, Principal of Sacred Hearts College of Education, Barnala,Dr. Tirath singh, delivered a lecture on the importance of mother language in the overall growth of society. He said the government and non-government institutions should promote Punjabi. The student-teachers carried banners, posters and raised slogans showing their love for punjabi language and its role in promoting universal brotherhood. A large number of students took part in it with zeal and enthusiasm.

Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh said that it is very beneficial and important for all to participate in such events for preservation, transmission and development of Mother tongue, culture and heritage. Student-teachers took pledge to save Punjabi language from Western impact and to promote multilingualism in India.
