Skill in Teaching Exams 2010
Practical exams of B. Ed. class ends on 29th may 2010. The skill in teaching exams were held on 28t and 29th May 2010. Dr. J. S. Dhillon, Principal, Khalsa college of education, Amritsar was the coordinator. The exams were conducted smoothly. The Coordinator watched the skill in teaching exams and admired the efforts of the students.

Examination Days
The examinations of B. Ed. class have started from 15th May, 2010.
The first exam was Practical of Physical Education on 15th May.
Second was Practical of Computer Education on 19th May.
Third one was Practical of Art on 21st May.
All the exams were well conducted by the examiners appointed by University.
Now the next exam are on 28th and 29th May, 2010. The skill in teaching examinations will be conducted on these days. The students are preparing for these exams.
I wish them ALL THE BEST FOR THESE EXAMINATIONS.

National Seminar was organised on 10th April, 2010 at Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar.
The topic of the Seminar was

A Medal and Cash Prize of Rs. 3100/- was given to the winner.
Dr. Vijay Grover was also present on the ocassion. He was the First winner of the Dr. W. R. Bowry Best Paper Award for the year 2009.
A Medal and Cash Prize of Rs. 3100/- was given to him also as he had not recieved the award on Triveni 2009.
Both the Awards were given by Dr. Anup Bowry, Dr. Chander Bowry and Dr. D. K. Joshi. The Management, Principal and the faculty members congratulated the winners.
Dr. Anup Bowry announced that the Best Paper Award will be given in next future years also.

Workshop and Seminar at St. Soldier College of Education
A workshop on Psychological testing was organised at St. Soldier College of Education, Jalandhar on 30th March 2010. Dr. Mahesh Bhargava of Harparsad Institute of Behavioural Studies, Agra was the main Resourse Person. He along with his team Explains various Paychologicla tests.

Seminar on Nurturing Research Culture
A national seminar was organised on NURTURING RESEARCH CULTURE at BCM Collegeo of Education, Ludhiana on 27th March 2010. Following resourse persons were present there

Two lectures on delveloong research attitude were devlivered and a session was organised on how to use SPSS for research activities.
It was followed by a Panel Discussion where the problems in nurturing research culture were discussed and suggesstions and recommendations were noted down.
Dr. Khushvinder Kumar assured that he will do his best for nurturing the research cullture and teh report will be on the NET with in a week.
It was agood initiative in the field of research.

World Water Day Celebration 2010
World Water day was celebrated on 22nd march 2010 at Pushpa Gujral Science City, Karpurthala. A Poster exhibition competition was organised at this occasion. The following students participated in the competition

Science City Trip 2010
An Educational trip to Pushpa Gujral Science City was organised on 13 March 2010. 65 students went with the trip. Three teacher incharges accompany the students.

100th World Women Day Celebration
100th World Women aay was celebrated on 8th March 2010. A seminar on Women Empowerment was organised on this occassion at Red Cross Bhawan. The Principal, Staff and Students Participated in the seminar. A movie show on HIV AIDS was also organised there also. Many eminent personalities participated in the seminar. The seminar was organised By NGO PAHAL.
