VISIT TO DOORDARSHAN KENDRA
Innocent Hearts College of
Education organized an Educational trip to Doordarshan Kendra, Jalandhar on
April 26, 2016. The student-teachers got an opportunity to
observe the news studios, special event studios, Earth station and transmitter
of DD Punjabi. They gained knowledge of satellite communication, terrestrial
mode & satellite mode, production and transmission of programmes and
analyzed the educational TV telecast for quality and content. Principal Dr.
Arjinder Singh said that such experiences are beneficial for the would-be
teachers for better understanding of ‘Information and Communication Technology’
and quality enhancement.
