Innocent Hearts College of
Education, Jalandhar organised an Extension lecture on the “Use of Natural holi
colours while celebrating Holi festival”. The main focus of the lecture was the
prevention of air pollution and maximum
utilization of renewable substances. Nagesh Bhardwaj, student-teacher of the
college explained the difference between organic and inorganic substances and
harmful effects of using chemical colours.
Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh said
that ‘Safe Holi’ should be played and environmental awareness should be spread.
Natural organic holi colours were distributed among the student-teachers. Later
the teachers and student-teachers played holi with these colours.
