Workshop on Curriculum Development

A Workshop was organised at Khalsa college of Education, Amritsar on
CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT as per NATIONAL CURRICULUM FRAME WORK 2009.
It was a two day workshop in which the curriculum for B. Ed. and M.Ed. was to be developed. The curriculum will be implemented from session 2011-2012.

A general structure was prepared for B. Ed. and M. Ed. and the syllabus was also revised for all the papers. Many Lecturers from other College of Educations were also present on the Workshop.
The next Workshop was scheduled to be on September 16-17, 2010.

Talent Hunt (PARICHYE) 2010

A talent hunt programme was organized on August 27th, 2010 in college auditorium. The newly admitted students showed their talent on the occasion.

First, Second and Third students in each category were selected. The participant students were awarded with participation certificate.

Seminar on Environmental Awareness on 26-08-2010

A seminar was organised on August 26th, 2010 on Environmental Awareness and the importance of tree plantation. Prof. Lakhbir Singh, a very popular Social Activists, was the resource person. Prof. Lakhbir Singh gave a very detailed lecture on the importance of tree plantation and gave answers to students' questions. 70 plants were given to the college by Prof. Lakhbir Singh. The college will ensure that atleast each student will plant one tree during their B. ed. Course.

Participation in Rajiv Gandhi Urga Divas at PGSC

Rajiv Gandhi Urga Divas was celebrated at Pushpa Gujral Scienc city, karpurthala. Following cometitions were organised on this occassion.
Painting
Essay Writing
Model Making
Ten students participated in the competition. The students also visited the Science city and enjoyed very much.

HAVAN for Session 2010-2011

The new session was started with a HAVAN on august 17th, 2010 at college campus. The Management, Principal, Faculty Members, New Students and few alumni were present on the occassion.
Principal addressed the students on the occassion and give his blessing for their new session and assure them that the college will provide all the necessary faculities required for education.

Inauguration of New Session 2010-2011

The new session of B. Ed. class at INNOCENT HEARTS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION will be started on 17th August, 2010. A Havan will be organised on that day. The management, Principal, Faculty members and the new admitted students will participate in the Havan.
The alumini is also invited on the occassion.

Result of B. Ed. 2010

Result of B. Ed. class for session 2009-2010 was declared by the university on august 7, 2010. The college again shows thegreat success by securing SEVEN merit postions in the university.
