Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar celebrated Holi virtually.

 

Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar celebrated the festival of colours by organising online creative activities for students at home due to the surge of Covid-19. These competitions were conducted with the objective to increase awareness about playing safe Holi with Corona precautionary measures. 

Spectacular vibrant pigments were displayed by students in the ‘Online Poster making competition’. Amanpreet Kaur achieved first prize with her lively poster of Holi wishes and tips for playing it safely. All student-teachers felt very happy portraying hues with canvas which depicted that this festival dissolves the unseen barriers created by race, caste, creed, religion with its vivid colours. Kritika Maggo also bagged first prize by preparing a three-dimensional poster which conveyed the message of 'Celebrating Safe Holi at home only, amidst Corona'.

Natural Eco-friendly Colour-making competition was organised in which students prepared beautiful shades in a very surprising manner with flowers and vegetables. Doras Malhotra achieved first prize by preparing organic colours in an artistic way.

Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh congratulated the winners and wished all ‘A Safe and Healthy Holi’. He  said that it signifies the victory of good over evil and may coronasur be burst to ashes.

Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar would-be teachers accomplished the feat of TET clearance

 

Seven student-teachers – Divya, Vyomika, Chahat, Namrita, Prabhjot, Maninder of Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar bought accolades home by clearing TET ( Teacher Eligibility test) 2021.

Divya and Vyomika shared that the college organises workshops and seminars frequently which help the students to qualify such examinations by updating them with the syllabus, eligibility, scheme of examination, procedure and tactics for preparing and qualifying TET, CTET, PSTET, and UGC- NET. Prabhjot Kaur and Namrita thanked the members of the Guidance and Counselling cell for conducting individual eclectic counselling interviews which helped them in solving their complex problems and developing confidence for clearing TET. Maninder highlighted that  free coaching was provided by the college in which the students discussed Mathematical reasoning questions, probing questions and all the doubts related to such exams were cleared. All achievers attributed their success to the college Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh and the faculty members.
