INNOCENT HEARTS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ORGANISED
INTER-HOUSE COMPETITION


Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar organized Inter-house competition in order to develop environmental awareness and team spirit. The students-teachers of Mother Teresa House, Rabindranath Tagore House and Vivekananda House made attractive collages, posters, charts etc related to Health, Social and Environmental issues respectively. They decorated the soft-boards assigned to each house and pondered over these serious issues. Principal, Dr. D.K. Joshi encouraged the student-teachers and appreciated their team work.

TALENT SEARCH ‘PARICHAY – 2014’


Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar organized Talent Hunt ‘Parichay-2014’ on          Aug 20th & 21st in order to bring out the hidden aptitude of the students and help them realize their individual worth. Mrs. Aradhana Bowry, Executive Director B.M.E.M.T was the Chief Guest of the day. The student-teachers actively participated in various activities like Rangoli, Collage making, Slogan writing, Painting, Best-out-of-waste, Debate, Poetry Recitation, Mimicry, Group dance, Folk songs etc. The audience was spell bound with the lively and colourful performance of the students. Principal, Dr. D.K. Joshi boosted the morale of the students and congratulated the winners.

Innocent Hearts College of Education organised Educational trip


Innocent Hearts College of Education organised a visit to Red cross deaf and dump school, Mentally Challenged school-PRAYAS and Government school for labourer children supervised by NGO (PAHAL). The teacher- educators divided the students in groups of ten. They were sent to different classes to observe teaching. They got an opportunity to interact with the special-needs children, they interacted with the school teachers also and tried to grasp the method and techniques of teaching such students. The student-teachers also distributed sweets, fruits, biscuits and toys to the special needs children. Principal DR. D.K. JOSHI explained the students-teachers that this type of experience will be beneficial for them in future.

INNOCENT HEARTS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
SEEKS THE BLESSINGS OF THE ALMIGHTY.

Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar organized Hawan on August 11, 2014 in order to inculcate values and develop respect for Indian culture among the would-be teachers of the ongoing session 2014-15.

The members of Management, Principal, faculty members and student- teachers participated in the prayer ceremonies. Principal Dr. D.K Joshi motivated the student-teachers to pursue new goals of success.
