INNOCENT HEARTS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, JALANDHAR STEERED THE GUIDING LIGHT OF EDUCATION ONCE AGAIN

 

Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar leads the guiding light of education with better performances each year, which is clearly reflected this year too in the result of GNDU B.Ed. Examination Sem-II (May – 2021). Out of 45 student-teachers, 39 student-teachers have achieved Distinctions and 43 student-teachers have grabbed First division. 

Nargis Jaitwani, Kritika Maggo, Mitali Rana, Neha Goswami, Shikha Sanan, Ankita Suri, Palak and Tanu Arora achieved First position in the college with 86.73% marks. Gunpreet Kaur bagged second position with 85.68% marks, Doras Malhotra attained third position with 85.26% marks, Amanpreet Kaur and Komal Verma grabbed fourth position with 84.84% marks.

The meritorious students attributed their success to their parents, teachers and the environment of the college. Gunpreet Kaur said “Achieving the second position means a lot to me because I prepared really hard for this examination. It would be wrong to take all the credit myself because that way I would be ignoring the efforts put in by my teachers and family. I am so blessed to have diligent and motivating teachers.

The members of Management, Principal and Faculty members congratulated the student-teachers for their brilliant achievements.

INNOCENT HEARTS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ORGANISED TALENT HUNT

 Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar under the aegis of DISHA an initiative by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical trust organized Talent Hunt-2022 on the theme of ‘Go Green’ and ‘Say no to plastic’. The student-teachers actively participated in literary items- Elocution, Debate and Poetical Symposium and artistic items – Painting, Poster making and Slogan writing. In order to cultivate the teaching skills amongst the student-teachers ‘Skill of Blackboard writing’ and ‘Best out of waste’ competitions were organized in which the student-teachers learnt the art of writing legibly and making creative teaching aids with waste material respectively. The atmosphere was filled with sentiments and harmony during the Solo Song performances of the student-teachers. The audience was spell bound with the energetic Indian Classical Dance and Folk Dance performances of the student-teachers. Participation in these activities aimed at bringing out the hidden aptitudes of the student- teachers and in helping them to realize their individual worth. The judgement was done keeping in mind the rules and criteria set for each item. Executive Director (Colleges) BMEMT, Mrs. Aradhana Bowry bestowed gifts upon the achievers. Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh boosted the morale of participants, gave prizes and certificates to the winners.
