Workshop on First Aid and Disaster Management

Five day workshop on First Aid and Disaster Management started yesterday in college Auditorium. The experts of AIESEC from China gave two presentations and some practical tips to the students. all the students are participating in the workshop.

Workshop on Intel Teach Elements

One Day Workshop was organised on the theme Intel Teach elements at Khalsa College of Education, Amritsar on February 5, 2011. Ms Sapna Bist was teh resource person for the workshop. Many teacehr Educators participated in the workshop.
The participants were told about Intel teach Programme and Engage India community.
It was very beneficial Workshop. I Congratulate Dr. J. S. Dhillon, Principal, Khalsa College of Education, Amritsar for organising such a good workshop.
Hope he will invite me in such future programme also.

Computer Mediated Learning of Students

Computer Mediated Learning is a main method used at Innocent Hearts College of Education. We do not believe in theory only. The live example of it are the following photographs which shows teh students having their learning using computer.

February 1, 2011 was the First day of the workshop. The first half of first day inauguration session. Dr. D. R. Vij was also present in the session. Dr. Surinderjit Kaur welcomed all the Principals, Teacher Educators and student-teacher. Many experts presented their views on Professional Excellence.
In the second half, experts from Alpha Institute gave their presentations on Professional Excellence. The audience was also educated about soft skills.

Workshop on Professional Excellence

An UGC sponsored Seven Day Workshop was organized at Ramgarhia college of Education, Phagwara. The workshop was organized from February 1, 2011 to February 7, 2011. The theme of the workshop was Professional Excellence. The theme of workshop was very much relevant for student-teachers. A team of 22 student-teachers lead by Dr. Tirath Singh and Arjinder Singh, Assistant Professors Innocent hearts College of Education participated in the workshop. Dr. D. K. Joshi, Principal, Innocent Hearts College of Education was also present in the inauguration session.

Seminar at BCM College of Education on 29-1-11

One day seminar was organised by CM Colleege of Education, Ludhiana on 29 January, 2011 on the Topic Praxiz of Comtemporary Evaluation Policies at School Level in India. Principal Dr. D. K. Joshi, Dr. Tirath Singh adn Arjinder Singh participated in the programme. There was also a Poster Presentation Competition on this occasssion.

IT BONANZA 2011 on 21 January,2011

BANARSI DASS GIRLS COLLEGE JALANDHAR CANTT. Organised the IT BONANZA in their college. Three students were participated from INNOCENT HEARTS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION . They participated in IT QUIZ . Thirteen colleges were participated in the quiz. DOABA COLLEGE ,JALANDHAR was won the quiz. Except quiz there were more activities in IT BONANZA. Software showcase, paper presentation, IT collage making, group discussion were the other activities. LYALLPUR KHALSA COLLEGE was all over winner in IT BONANZA.

Extension Lecture on CCE By Mr. Dheeraj Banati

An extension lecture was organised on 7th January 2011 in college auditorium. Mr. Dheeraj Banati, Principal Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar was the resource person. The lecture starts at 10:00 AM. Mr. Banati Gave avery detailed presentation on Comprehensive and continous Evaluation. The whole programme was divided into lecture and discussion. Both were going on Side by Side. The Students took a keen interest in the programme.
Earlier the programme started with welcome speech by Dr. D. K. Joshi, Principal Innocent Hearts College of Edcuation, Jalandhar.
The students and the faculty members were attended the programme with deep interest.
It was a very useful programme for the students and faculty.
The college is very thankful to Mr. dheeraj Banati for sharing his valuable views on CCE.
