INCOGNITO 2010 at DAVIET

A Tech Fest was organised at DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology from 5th to 7th February 2010. The group of 10 students from INNOCENT HEARTS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION participated in the technology festival. These students were:

The students took a keen interest in all the activities. Latest knowledge related to technology and computers was given there. The students learnt a lot from the festival.

World Wet Land Day 2010

World Wet Land day was celebrated on 2nd Feburary , 2010 at Pushpa Gujral Science City, Karpurthala by the NGO PAHAL.
Painting and Declamation competitions were organised at this event.
Following students from Innocent Hearts College of Edcuation participated in the competitions.

Workshop on HIV AIDS at Science City

Puspa Gujral Science city organised a workshop on HIV AIDS and BLOOD DONATION on 23rd January, 2010. Following persons participated in the worksop.

Basant Celebration 2010

Basant was celebrated in college campus on 20th January, 2010. The Principal, Staff members and students bear Yellow cloths on the occasion.
A KITE flying competition was organised. The students participaed in the competition.

Lohri Celebration 2010

Lohri 2010 was celebrated in college campus on 13th January, 2010. The Principal, staff and the students were present. Bonfire was lighted and everybody enjoyed the warmth of the festival.
Dance competition was organised on the occasion. The staff members and students participated in the competition.

Trip to Shri Anandpur Sahib and Shri Naina Devi 2009

A trip was organised to visit Shri Anandpur Sahib and Shri Naina Devi on 5th September 2009. 40 students of B. Ed. Class visited the places. The Following teachers went along with the students:

The journey started early 5:30 AM in the morning and the first destination was Shri Naina Devi.
After the visit tithe tample the students reached Shri Anandpur Sahib in the afternoon.

The students enjoyed their trip very much.

In the way Back to the college the students were shown the preparation of Gur.
The students enjoyed the HOT GUR and Sugarcane.

Mathematical Quiz at Hindu Kanya College, Karpurthala

Mathematical Quiz was organised in Mega-Fest at Hindu Kanya College, Karpurthala on 20-21 November, 2009. Following students from Innocent Hearts College of Education participated in Mathematical Quiz.

Youth festival of colleges of education was organised at DAV College of Education, Amritsar from 28th to 29th October 2009. Innocent Hearts College of Education took part in all the competitions. Viva of Phd Thesis of Mr. Tirath Singh

Mr. Tirath Singh, Lecturer, Innocent Hearts College of Education had submitted his Phd Thesis in October 2008. The viva of the submitted thesis was held on 5th October, 2009. The arrangements were made at Guest House, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Professor Pranati Panda of National University of Educational Planning and Administration was the examiner. Goodwill Mission at DIPS

A goodwill mission visited DIPS College of Education, Dhilwan on 1^st October 2009. The mission comprised of members of CTE (Council of Teacher Education) Assam Chapter. Nine members of Assam chapter of CTE under the leadership of Prof. Nilima Bhagawati were on their visit to Punjab. Following Members of Innocent hearts College of Education, Jalandhar participated in the Meet.

Inaugurational of Session 2009-2010

Innocent Hearts College of Education organised a HAVAN in its campus on 24- 09-2009. The Management, Principal, Staff and the students were present on this occasion.

On this occasion the principal Dr. D. K. Joshi welcomed the students in the college. The principal gave a brief description of History of College and its achievement of past two years. He blessed the students and motivate them to repeat the history for third consecutive years.

Innocent Hearts College of Education, Green Model Town, Jalandhar has created history in the field of education by grabbing maximum number of merit positions in B. Ed. University Examinations in its Second year. Sukhwinder Kaur and Kamaljit Kaur stood Second in the university. The Third position was also taken by Jagjit Kaur of Innocent Hearts college of Education.

The college grabbed 14 Merit positions in University Merit list, which are more than any other college.
