Innocent Hearts College of Education mourns at the passing away of Former Principal Dr. DK Joshi.


Innocent Hearts College of Education extends deepest condolences on the passing away of beloved Former Principal Dr. Devender Kumar Joshi. He had laid the foundation of the college since it’s inception in the year 2007 and served the institution for 10 years. Under his noble guidance, the college students in the very first year made a landmark by grabbing a gold medal by achieving 1st position in the GNDU B.Ed. academic result, besides holding merit positions. Consecutively second year, the college created history by positioning 15 students out of 100 in the 53-member merit list issued by the university. His profound leadership,  values and dedication have left a long-lasting mark on the college community and managing trust.  

The Chairman (Innocent Hearts Group) Dr. Anup Bowry, Managing Director (Health Services) Dr. Chander Bowry, Executive Director (Schools) Mrs. Shally Bowry, Executive Director (Colleges) Mrs. Aradhana Bowry and Principal of College of Education Dr. Arjinder Singh expressed their deep feelings of regret on the demise of revered educationist Dr. DK Joshi who had achieved many awards and recognitions in his career like Swami Vivekananda Award of Excellence, Glory of Education Excellence Award, Best Educationist Award, Rastriya Shiksha Saraswati Award, Bharat Gaurav Award, Rajeev Gandhi Shiromani Award, Rashtriya Rattan Award etc. Chairman (Innocent Hearts Group) Dr. Anup Bowry sadly expressed, “We have lost a precious jewel of our temple of learning. His distinct vision, open-mindedness, exceptional wisdom and his ability to appreciate others, will always remain locked in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.” Principal of College of Education, Dr. Arjinder Singh praying for the departed soul said, “Former Principal Dr DK Joshi will remain immortally amongst us in his invaluable teachings, illuminating ideas and  knowledge which he has transferred to the generations.” With heavy hearts, all the faculty members, students and alumni prayed for his peaceful journey ahead to the God’s abode.
