Innocent Hearts College of Education,
Jalandhar celebrated Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s Jayanti on Sept 28, 2016. The
student-teachers organized the whole event. They performed emotional drama
related to the main life events of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and enacted the roles
of Sukhdev, Rajguru and Bhagat Singh. Patriotic songs were sung and
self-composed poems were recited. The spirit of sacrifice and love for the
nation was aroused by observing the dance performances of student- teachers.
Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh said that the student-teachers should help the
poor and needy in the society, Education is not just achieving the degrees and
certificates, but education is working for the welfare of the society. It is
the duty of every citizen to respect our country-men and live co-operatively.
